Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua attends the international energy conference and visits Chinese exhibitors

On 11–12 October 2026, H.E. Chang Hua, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia, attended upon invitation the Ministerial Meeting of the 17th International Energy Forum and the opening ceremony of the 25th WPC Energy Congress in Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia. During his attendance, Ambassador Chang held exchanges with Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia, Amin Nasser, President and Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Aramco, and Abdulrahman Abunayyan, Founder and Chairman of ACWA Power, among other figures.

Saudi officials and entrepreneurs noted that China has played an important role in safeguarding global energy security and expressed willingness to further deepen energy cooperation with China.

Ambassador Chang also visited the booths of Chinese enterprises at the parallel exhibition. He checked in with Chinese exhibitors including Xi'an Rig, and urged Chinese participants to closely follow developments in the regional situation and take adequate safety precautions while seeking cooperation opportunities.
