Our API 7-1 Kelly Bar, also known as rotary kelly, is a core torque transmission component widely equipped on oil, gas and water well drilling rigs. It works together with rotary table, kelly bushing and drive bushing to transfer rotary power from the rotary table to the entire drill string, driving drill bits to break underground formations continuously. We supply both square kelly and hexagonal kelly to match different rotary table models and field operation requirements.

Manufactured from premium high-strength alloy steel, our kelly bars go through strict heat treatment including quenching and tempering. The surface is precision machined with low roughness, featuring outstanding torsion resistance, bending resistance and wear resistance. It can endure heavy load and harsh working conditions with mud, sand and variable underground formations, greatly reducing the risk of deformation and fracture during long-time drilling.

All products are produced and inspected in accordance with API Spec 7-1 standards. Complete dimension inspection, non-destructive testing and material certification are available to guarantee consistent quality. We support various standard sizes and custom specifications as per clients’ technical drawings.
